This privacy policy governs your use of a mobile or browser software application (“Application”) in the Intrepid Suite that includes basic capabilities such as User Location Mapping, Information Sharing and Messaging, Emergency Notifications and Cellular Push to Talk.

User Provided Information

The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Application. When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide: your first name, last name email address, user name, phone number and other secondary registration information. We may also use the information you provided us to contact your from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices. We will not use this information for marketing promotions.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information to assist in registration and use of the Application. This information is only used for support and application analytics of our platform.

Location Information

On specifically configured Intrepid Response uses your location information to display the location of your smartphone. You may at any time opt-out from further allowing us to have access to your location data by disabling location services on your smartphone device on the dashboard.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information only under the following circumstances:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process.
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
  • with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf or we partner with for application integration, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
  • if Intrepid is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information;

Opt-out

You may opt out of all information collection by uninstalling the Application. You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and your organization has an active subscription. You may also ask us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application at any time. Please contact us at privacy@intrepid-networks.com to remove all data and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly, and we may be required to retain certain information by law.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@intrepid-networks.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Google Analytics

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy . You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.
